The Shuffler® enables active seated exercise using two independent roller frames. It supports users of all ages and abilities as part of a daily routine — at home, at work, or in care settings.

Proven Results in Everyday Use

In a small usability study on healthy adults, participants showed measurable improvements in baseline mobility after just two weeks of daily use.

After an 8-week community programme with Romney Marsh Community Hub, recognised by Sport England and supported by National Lottery, participants showed improvements in simple movement measures and reported increased confidence using the SHUFFLER® as part of regular seated exercise.

  • Neil B., Wellbeing Coordinator / Retired Occupational Therapist

“I recently had the opportunity to see a piece of equipment called The Shuffler®. From my observation and testing, I believe it would be beneficial and useful to pilot within our seated exercise groups. It gives an extra dimension, allowing those with minimal mobility stay active while seated.”

The SHUFFLER® is simple and accessible

Last week I tried the Shuffler—a portable, seated exercise device co-developed by Jim Kelly, a GP with special interest in musculoskeletal medicine.

Designed to promote mobility and stability, it’s an innovative solution for incorporating movement into daily routines, especially for those who spend extended periods seated.

What I liked about the Shuffler is its simplicity and accessibility.

Whether you’re working at your desk, watching TV, or relaxing at home, the Shuffler allows you to engage in light exercise without the need for extensive equipment or space.

For those interested in enhancing their daily activity levels in a convenient way, the Shuffler is worth exploring.

  • Mike S., Community Physiotherapist

“After only a minute of shuffling I could feel it working my lower limbs and could see how this could benefit my patients and relatives. I think this will soon become a key piece of equipment.”
